BTR Group Invests in Morocco for Lithium-Ion Battery Anode Material Project
BTR Group, a leader in lithium-ion battery materials, has announced a strategic investment in Morocco, marking a significant step forward in its international expansion. Following the successful launch of operations in Indonesia, BTR Group, through its subsidiary BTR Mediterranean New Material Technology, is embarking on an integrated project with an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons of lithium-ion battery anode materials.
Located in Tangier Technology City, the Moroccan project represents a total investment not exceeding $366 million, with construction expected to take approximately two years.
Upon completion and commencement of production, the project is poised to substantially boost BTR's competitive edge in the anode material sector, and enhance service offerings to overseas customers.
The simultaneous operation of the Indonesian project and the Moroccan initiative underscores BTR’s comprehensive approach to the overseas market. BTR is dedicated to propelling the global new energy industry through a relentless focus on innovation and quality.
